The Grand Canyon National Park is one of the seven wonders in the world. I couldn't wait to visit it after I moved to Arizona, many years ago. I visited it many times, including the South, North and West rims. This painting is based on a photo I took at sunset at the South Rim in October 2020. Covid was at the peak and travel was limited. I did not want to fly but driving from Phoenix to the South rim was not difficult. The rim was less crowed than usual. I enjoyed the quiet. After returning I did some paintings of the Grand Canyon. This is one of them.
